The Faces of the Council
The Student Body President is a senior elected by the whole school in the spring of their junior year. Student Body President works closely with students and other council members to implement positive change. The Chair/President of the Student Council is a position elected from within the Council. This person oversees the entire council, chairs meetings, and works closely with the Student Body President to speak with deans and the Head of School.
Student Council is made up of elected representatives from all four grades. The Student Council aims to maintain an equal gender balance. For 9th-graders two representatives are elected. For Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, 4 representatives are elected in each grade. There can be 1 PG representative. In addition, one underclassmen and one upperclassmen day student representatives are elected by day students.
